РЕ ВОЛЮ ЦІЯ
Right in the middle of the Euro fan zone on Kreschatyk, there is a relatively large semi-permanent congregation of Tymoshenko supporters displaying their placards. Though the fan zone is still under construction and there are few people passing through it, this is poised to come to a head if the Tymoshenko supporters remain there well into the Euro Cup festivities....
As well, Baba Vera (the wonderfully sweet lady who has taken us into her home for the next month - more on her later), showed us a leaflet calling for "all Ukrainian Patriots" to attend a a possible protest action organized by the united opposition. The call is to protest the proposed bill concerning the Russian language in Ukraine. It's going to be an interesting week...
